Open Question: I have a ASUS DTV+FM Antenna and want to use it to play FM radio on Windows Media Center,?

however, when I choose radio in WMC it says ‘Your computer does not have tuner hardware installed that supports FM radio.’ Is there anything I can do to make the FM radio work.

Open Question: My JVC LT-32sh6 Tele HDTV has a green/yellow screen, no red or orange colours when DTV is on.?

Can you help with my problem?
When I run normal tv, the colour is fine, only when iI watch DTV the colour is wrong.

Resolved Question: How can I see DTV channels?

Back when the U.S. went all digital I purchased a converter box (for the TV that didn’t have cable) and I remember getting used to going to different channels. Zoom a few months later and now every TV in the house has cable. One of the TVs (mine) is an HDTV. Is there a way that my HDTV or any of the other TVs can see some of those DTV channels. I know you’re thinking why?!. It’s because there’s a channel in particular that I liked and is not a part of my cable package. Yes, yes I know I can request the channel but that’s not what I’m asking.

Resolved Question: Did you feel that DTV was a big let down?

I am in Canada, so we haven’t switched yet, but I used to pick up all kinds of channels from neighbouring US city’s. Now that the switch is said and done I hate DTV! I went to the US to buy a converter box for $70 dollars and the darn thing doesn’t even pick up anything!

I bought it so I could watch a little US tv now and then (mostly so I could watch a live olympics coverage on CBC or CTV and then watch the event again taped delayed on the NBC affiliate of an neighbouring US city. I sometimes like to see an athlete I was pulling for win twice), and now I cant even do that!

It gets worse, this box cant even receive my local stations either. Sometimes if the weathers good I will get a little CBC tv, but that’s it. My tv is primarily Analogue

I don’t know who came up with this stupid idea, but its the most upset thing I have ever heard!

When Analogue goes black up here, I will be pointing my antenna in the direction of Analogue translators!

Resolved Question: I just switched from DTV to Dish Network, having issues?

With Direct TV I could always find every tv show I wanted to record; including the office, parks and recreation… And now that I have Dish Network, I cant find either of these shows. It’s very frustrating. I found American Idol, but I can find any NEW episodes to record of the office. It only finds episodes from 09.. but no new ones. And i’ll see advertisements for the new episodes, but it wont find it in the search! What’s up with this? Was the switch even worth it?!

Open Question: DTV converter box problems?

ok so the tv just went black like when you put it on channel 3, it happened this morning, idk why…and now it doesnt wanna work, it has input 1,2,3 also but those arnt the right ones, just on channel 3

i tried unhooking the converter box and hooking it back but that didnt work, the box is on showing that green light but the tv doesnt seem to be getting anything…

any ideas?

Resolved Question: Are there any DTV boxes that have a VGA or DVI output?

I am setting up some Wildcat Rear-Projection Displays and was hoping for them to be able to receive digital TV. They only have VGA and DVI inputs, so I was wondering if there was a DTV box that had these outputs, or perhaps a convert to convert to these formats. Any help would be great

…I am currently looking at getting a UHF/Digital antenna and had a question.
I currently subscribe to Dish network for TV access, and want to remove the local channel option and then get a OTA antenna to pull in the locals for free, I just recently purchased two digital converter boxes:
Zenith DTT901, which I see is supposed to be a pretty good model. And I am thinking about getting this antenna: Philips MANT940, which seems to be getting pretty good reviews as well, and I like the prices that I have seen listed online.

But my question is what is my best option on integrating this antenna into my existing Dish Network setup. I have 2 standard def TV’s that connect to the Sat controller boxes, via a Tivo Series 2 DVR.

My current research gives the impression that I might need to get, some kind of Multi-switch, and diplexer’s. But will I need both things or not?

I would like to be able to connect the Ant. somewhere close to my existing dish ant. and then be able to view the digital channels OTA and have my Tivo DVR’s at each TV record the local content.
